“ Great "beer and a burger" deal! It was a surprise, but I think it was 10 for a burger and a beer on Monday. Anyway, really good burger and decent selection of beer. Its not a brewery though, so dont expect a wall full of taps. The house made lager was good enough for me. Nice spot after a cold dip and hang session up the river a bit. Would recommend for a very reasonable price tag, good service and laid back atmosphere! ”
“ This was one of our favorite places in the area we ate at! The food was amazing and the entire staff was so nice. ”
“ The food was delicious! It was definitely a nice treat after hiking. The nachos were awesome. I had Tavern steak wrap. ”
“ Warm and welcoming pub! They were open on Xmas Eve. Super close to the mountains and scenic areas! They have a unique black bear lager (bear bones from North brewing) that's exclusive to this place! Tastes super nice with a Guinness float on top! ”
“ The food at this place has no business being this good! Came to the region for the ice castles. We ate here because it was the closest place to where we were staying, and it was a snowstorm. I expected basic, disappointing “pub” food. I was beyond impressed! The onion rings are what you always wish you’ll get when your order onions rings but never get elsewhere. Burgers were perfectly cooked, the exact right amount of greasy, and tasted great. It’s a basic pub, but it’s very very very well done. I would 100% eat here again, I just hope they get more staff. Only complaint was the slow service, but it’s not her fault she ran her a off ”
“ Another random stop that turned out to be gold! Stopped in on the way home, just randomly because it looked comfortable. Really glad we did! First off, the atmosphere is wonderful. It's a small New England style pub, lots of wood, low lights, comfortable seating in both a bar and restaurant setting (two sides of the building). I think this would be very comfortable for families or a night out. There was a guitarist playing folk-style music, very comfortable. The bartender sat us, and even noted when I mentioned I left my glasses in the car and she gave me a pair of readers... Service we quick, and very friendly. She really was top notch! Food came out quickly (there's trivial pursuit cards on the tables if you get bored) and it was excellent. I had salmon and my partner had shrimp scampi. I also had french onion soup, one of those odd things one gets once in a great while... And it's was well worth it! There's quite a range of food and beer for a small menu, need to stop back and try again! Highly recommended if you're in the area ”
“ We had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had in America. The service was wonderful. On April 8, 2024, we were trying to get to the furthest point to see the total eclipse, but traffic was heavy and the kids were hungry. That’s when we found this spot on the map—what a great find! We enjoyed a nice lunch, had a great time, and made some amazing memories. ”
“ Popped in here with my wife and 3 kids and it was great. Plenty of choices for the kids. Coke products, bar if you’re into that kind of thing. Rustic feel, plenty of space so you’re not bumping elbows with the table next to you. Wide variety of beers and spirits. Food was great, service was great, glad we made a pit stop there today! ”
